Privacy Policy

PoolCast ("the app") is an independent app, designed to need as little of your data as possible.

The short version

PoolCast has no user accounts, shows no ads, and does not collect, sell, or share personal information. We have no servers that store anything about you.

What the app handles

Location you search for. When you search a place and select it, the app sends that place's name and coordinates to the Open-Meteo weather service to retrieve a forecast. This is not linked to your name, device, or any account. PoolCast does not use your device's GPS.

Your settings, on your device only. Pool details, units, and your last location are saved locally using Android's standard preferences. They never leave your phone.

What we do not do

No personal data collection, no ads or analytics SDKs, no cross-app tracking, no selling or sharing of data.

Deleting your data

All data is local. Uninstalling PoolCast removes it, or use Android Settings → Apps → PoolCast → Storage → Clear data.

Children

PoolCast is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
